Role brief
Open to actors of all backgrounds.
Self-tape instructions
Record Your Self Tape
Using a smartphone, DSLR or video camera, record yourself performing the audition scene.
Where possible, please have another person read the opposite character off-camera. Having someone to perform with will give you the opportunity to react naturally and generally results in a stronger audition.
Please frame yourself reasonably close to camera and make sure your dialogue can be heard clearly. Professional camera equipment is not required — we are primarily interested in your performance.
Along with your audition scene, please record a short introduction of up to **3 minutes** telling us:
- A little about yourself
- Your previous acting experience, if any
- Why you would like to appear in a Lilydale Films or Flunk project
Actors of all experience levels are welcome to submit.
Upload your video to **Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer or another accessible file-sharing service**, then submit the download or viewing link through this ScreenRoster casting call.
Please make sure the link is accessible without requiring us to request permission.
What Happens Next?
Lilydale Films casts a large number of roles throughout the year, so you may not hear from us immediately.
We will review submissions on an ongoing basis and may keep suitable performers on file for future productions. If we think you may be right for a particular role, we will contact you with further information or invite you to audition for a specific character.
